Mind Frame

Since childhood we learn to follow society rules, which is good till certain limits, but at the same time it creates mental blockage too,

We need to free our mind to be effective leader.
Leaders are those who don’t have any mental blocks, who are ready to accept new things, if-fact new challenges, life it self is a challenge. Here I would like to relate one story. That’s of my own life, when I used to play cricket for my state. I was opening batsman, as well as opening bowler. At times, when someone else got chance and I did not, I used to feel annoyed, I used to curse my coach, the selectors, and even to my good friend who was captain. During my three years of sports career, I hardly got chance to play 6 matches. So you could understand how hard it was for me to be out of the field. Always new players, why not me, I perform well, stamina was good, but still I am left out. One day I argued with selectors, on this issue, and I got the best reply, that changed my whole perception towards life, they told me Dharam, we know that you are a good player, but you are bounded with your own techniques, and you are not learning further, every time we dropped you, expecting that you should have learn new things from this match. But every time we realized that you were not bothered to see how others are playing, but you were busy to blame others. I really felt that, it was true, when other players were observing each movement of the performing players, I was busy cursing all. I was blocked; I never allowed any new things in me, now if I was focusing on learning new things, I guess I would have represented Indian cricket team. Don’t you think each of the Indian cricket team players are leaders, I observed them so closely, they are always eager to learn. Doesn’t matter even if they are learning from opponent team players. I remember irfan Pathan, learning from wasim akram. But we are blocked so much. We have restricted ourselves. We don’t learn, and we blame others for our failure. Gautam Buddha says: you become what you think.
Can you imagine yourself living in a room with four-sided wall, roof, no window, and no door? What do you think will be result; probably people will find you dead in a day or two. Same way how can you imagine your mind with blocks, circled all around. No doors to enter new thoughts, ideas, or new Learnings, and no window, or exhaust, to throw away unwanted things out of life, leaders are the people who will always keep their cup empty. They always keeps their mind door open, they allows new thoughts, Learnings, and ideas. Leaders are those who will also do new experiments. Now again, new experiments are only possible if your mind is un-blocked. If your mind is ready to accept failure, and evaluate what went wrong. Rectify it, and do it again. If still not succeed they will yet search their mistakes, they wont blame to others. But search own mistakes, and again make an attempt. And ultimately they are successful. Now if mind was not ready to accept the failure. The first attempt it self will discourage the person, and person will give up with any new experiments. Because that failure created a psychological impact. And the person created one more mental block.
From where does this blockages come?
From our child hood, we learn these blockages from our elders. Don’t do this, don’t do that, don’t go here, don’t go there, don’t take risks, etc etc. then we grow a bit, our blockages also grows along with, in school, we learn this is right this is wrong, you shouldn’t behave this way, you should behave this way, learn the manners, etc. then we further grow, doesn’t know how to speak, doesn’t know how to walk, doesn’t know how to eat. By the time you are at job, most of the people I met, were suffering with inferiority complex. No confidence, interview, and u will see them if they were going in boxing ring. What is these, entire nothing but our own blocks, that prevents new things to enter in us, that prevents new experience, which avoids success.
Let me give u example here, lets take example of a wall, let’s say wall is golden, made of pure gold, now one man paints that wall with while colour. Next day another man paints with red colour, third day one more person pains with green colour, next day one more person paints the wall with black colour. Now if you see the wall first time, what colour will this wall appear? You wont see gold, what u can see is black, the same way we have painted our mind with different tags, or names, or degrees, so the original colour of your mind, is no more there, so when some will see you black, some will see you red, some will see you green. You have to remove all layers from your mind. And be it free of layers.
Once there was a beggar, always begging on cross road foot path. There was a tree, and he always used to sit on a broken wooden box under that tree, his routine was getup early in the morning sit on box and start begging, once a saint was going through there, he saw this beggar; he went nearby and asked him what he was doing. The beggar got annoyed and replied furiously. Don’t you see, I am begging. The saint asked him what is in the because you are sitting on, the beggar replied I don’t know, the saint asked him why don’t you open and see, the beggar was scared to open that box, because it was broken, and if it will further break while opening then he wont have place to seat upon. So he refused. After few months beggar died, people sent him to crematorium and that beggar turned into ashes, after few days the same saint returned back the same way, he didn’t saw that bagger, so he question some passer by, listen there was a beggar here, where is he, the person replied he died. Oh, gods bless his soul. The box was yet there un attained, so the saint opened the box, and it was a big surprise to the saint, that the box was full of precious diamonds, and gold. The beggar was already was billionaire, but he never looked in to the box whole of his life, fearing that if this box will break he wont have place to seat.
Same like that beggar, many of us, are not willing to open what treasure we have within us, just all we need to do is unlock or un block our mind..
